    Loot lockouts in CT

    I feel myself feeling rather bleh over this. Who's with me?!

    This really says it all for me. There have been so many off-the-wall design decisions from SE contradicting what, supposedly, is one of the game's founding principles: one character being enough to support all roles in the game. They created a game based on horizontal progression, then totally forgot what that meant.

    Same here and I don't know what the big deal is, it only iLevel 80 Gears. Most people loot it I see already have iLevel 90 Gears. They just have it when Vanity System Introduce. One week lock out for this is really terrible ideas. Way a go and promote Contents SE, more lock out crap to make people stay longer.

    I'm using CT to gear my bard. So, I got the gloves. Then we drop pants, chest, boots and i had to pass on everything because I was already locked for the week. The chest was lost because everybody in my raid passed on it. Which's sad. If nobody wants the loot you could at least be able to get it.

    i dont have problem with "free" 1 ilvl 80 loot a week, its just another way to make people subscribe

    It is odd.

    There wasn't a lock out on the Darklight Gear in 2.0, which was the progression equivalent to the iLvl80 Gear from CT now.

    It's just a way for them to extend the content until they get ready to release 2.2.

    By the time they release information on the next patch, people will forget about the lockouts and have something to look forward to in 2.2. Barring it being bunch of re-ran crap like HM dungeons and Super Ultra Extreme Primals.

    The difference is, darklight in 1.0 had really low drop rates, and you could see no drops for days. Here you have a guaranted drop every chest, so we need some kind of wall instead burning all the content in the first week. Deal with it

    I'd rather see lowered drop rates and no lock out, than 100% drop rate and be locked out. Loot falling to the ground is counter intuitive. At least make it so you only get locked if you "need" an item. If that is still too much to ask, remove the lock out if a item happens to drop to you because everyone passes and you neglect to do so.

    Maye they shouldn't have used the drop system, but tokens instead. Limited tokens, that is enough for 1 piece, does not sound as terrible as limited rolls on loot.

    I guess we'd still have the people complaining it is only a Monday game, because they get their piece on Monday and then see no reason to play. But really, if you don't enjoy the game and only play to get items, I think SE could do better with just adding an item NPC you can log on mondays and pick an item up at. That way everyone only needs to play 2 minutes a week to get their "enjoyment".

    Idk, i think its a better system, especially since you can run this dungeon until your fingers bleed and your eyeballs fallout. It would give people a better reason to re run the dungeon.

    I am hearing about people getting their item and then bailing the run. Or asking to be kicked so they don't get 30min cool down.
