Duty Roulette while in a grp.

Why can't we use Duty Roulette while in a grp with someone? I want to do Duty Roulette with friends and people from my FC, but it won't let you queue for it when your in a grp. How ass backwards is it to not promote group play with friends?

I'm guessing they want to promote helping solo players who might be stuck on duties from lack of people doing them. Though I agree, I really don't want to do a lot of these dungeons with people I don't know ... especially when some of them are ragers.

Maybe It's just my luck, but people I meet in DR was very nice.

I've bumped into so many rude people in high level DR. The other queues are fine but it's just that one.

Because this is the way it was designed from the start. You can farm tomes faster in a group than using DF/DR.

Probably because duty roulette was purposely designed to get people out of pre-made groups. That's what the standard duty finder is for.

They have already posted previously it was initially developed for 1 player matching and that in 2.2 or later they will update it to be a 2 or 3 person party able to queue for Duty Roulette (Low Level, Guildhest, High Level), and up to 7 players to queue for Main Scenario (8-man).

So.. another feature that we need to wait for 2.2 to actually enjoy? Starting to wonder why they put out 2.1 at all...

Seriously though.. one person helping three is good(and of those three, you may sometimes only find one that's actually level appropriate), but two people helping two others is not? So, i have to choose between helping people i don't know from off server so it's doubtful i'll meet them again to build any sort of community, or spending time doing things with my girlfriend or friends.. which one do you think i'm going to pick? Which one is a normal person who likes spending time with friends going to pick?

It's called variety. I don't want to farm the same dungeon again and again and again, but i would gladly do all my Roulette dungeons a day with my SO, which would help three (or four) groups by the two of us.. but now no groups are helped by the two of us. Who loses more? Me, or the people waiting on story dungeons?

Yeah, same. My fiance and I pretty much do everything together in the game - on our mains, at least. It's rather sad that we can't even participate in handing out commendations because of this.
