I think the title says it all. We need a more interactive pvp environment that involves more than just running around in a circular room with a few walls. Any pvp that's in an arena gets boring really quick and is a stale idea that's been overused.

Arena has always been better than battlegrounds and objective skill-less-ness by a mile. All we need is more Arena maps. However, more PvP modes aren't necessarily a bad thing either.
From what I have read there is a supposed GCvGCvGC zone that was supposed to be established... but then again SQEnix has no problem charging a Sub for half a game... AKA pre 2.1 nevermind a fully developed game that might offer more than arena PvP.
I'd like to see a zone on the map with open world pvp, enter at your own risk. But not a mandatory questing area, totally by choice ( or the QQ will overload these forums) maybe they can make it with pvp quests and such. dueling, CTF, point control etc.. maybe a Bi monthly castle raid, FC's could battle for castles scattered throughout the zone... meh I guess I'm just missing Lineage 2.
I have high hoped for this. We have 3 GCs. A good battleground cap point/ticket countdown could be fun or a zone with keep/tower/structures with an attack/defend style map. 32per side x3 if SE has that much invested in their servers for pvp could be very fun. They also need to create immunity timers for CC. Once you survive a sleep from a class- you should receive an immunity timer for lets say 1 min as well as some minor tweekings. 1) Melee dps that has a stun in its arsnel doesn't receive a high MSR (movement Speed Reduction). Miasma, Throw Shield a couple off the top of my head should have a scaling MSR based on the level. (If your diseased- your not a track star and the current 40% is hardly noticeable in small scale arena.) So I would suggest a 4s 99% root 30lvl, 6s root 40lvl, 10s root lvl 50 or a knockdown with a 2.5s delay. Blizzard 2 should lose its bind potential for a higher damage closer to the middle of the pbaoer and it falls off from the middle of the cast.

Someday I will find a PvP oriented game that will be as much fun as Dark Age of Camelot was in its heyday.. <still looking>
It'll come in time man. It's a good first step.
In addition. Blizzard I should have a scaling MSR on it. 30% per nuke- stacks 3x then diminishing returns after an immunity timer has lapsed. Bards should have Cure Sleep in their skilltree and a higher than average immunity to it. The trade off would be a weakness for disease, and cold, meaning their MSRs would get punished a bit longer or a higher loss of movement %s.
As for the zone; they would have to draw in the PVErs with better % drops on mobs in that area for them to take the risk and it be worth it or after so many control points are taken by 1 GC (lets say 2/3) then a unique dungeon unlocks with rare loot/vendors/bosses/mobs and unique coins only able to be used in that dungeon. Any that are in that dungeon when their company loses it, can stay but only until they are killed and cant get a rez. The zone needs to have a "safe" loading area that the other side cant cast/reach also. Once people that pve only get kills then they will become more interested in PvP. On that note- when you die, you shouldn't lose anything on your body. However for assist and kills you should gain PvP points similar to the Arena style as is to buy loot/abilities.
