dps balance

This is amazing how people still bring Nerf bard on the table,
as for now we only have Mage's ballad as the only viable song ( things that we use often, the rest of the song just played every now and then ), mediocre DPS, and silence ( heck more and more PLD and MNK do better job now a days ). Everyone on damn healer forum claiming they need better mana Regen tool. what we will have left soon with? shooting bananas ?

Soon u have to play Justin Bieber to stun bosses, and fear trash.
rest of our song are about useless atm.
Fact's are, we are about to bring less utility to grp, that others dont have, and our dps have realy taken a hit.

We are a hated class and will be until SE makes an effort to the brd job.

As whm, I don't really care who does what dps. I really do care about who can get out of the red circle, who can kill the right target, and who can click on the correct thingy.


Honestly, I believe balance is BAD for games. I wish SE would unbalance the game, perhaps much more. WoW was the most balanced MMO I ever played at it's time - but also became rediculously homogonized. Balance should mean that all classes are equivalent, but instead, balance has come to mean all the classes are the same. If that's the goal there should be 3 or 4 classes tank, healer, melee, caster (or combine melee and caster into just dps).

Instead, I would prefer each class be OP in some way, so that every class is very valuable for that special thing or combination of things they do.
