I have seen this posted and closed a few times in this thread but it is not posted as a known issue so I am wondering what the resolution is.

Walking on a downhill slope causes name to stutter and character to stutter like I am falling down a thousand tiny steps instead of smoothly walking downhill

i7-930 OC @ 3.5ghz
6gb DDR3 OCZ Ram
A/O = Off
DOF = Off
AA = None
Hardware mouse enabled
Texture Quality = High
Texture Filtering = Highest
General Drawing Quality = 8
Background Drawing Quality = 5
Shadow detail = Highest

AERO turned off to fix other stuttering issue with FFXIV.
