Suggestion: Let us own the inn room

An interesting idea would be what if you owned an inn room and could put furnishings in it like you could a mog house in FFXI. Simple way to do it would be, the Grand Company you are aligned with gives you your own room it could a reward for getting to one of the unreleased ranks. From that point on when your in that town the room is yours to put whatever furnishings in. The room is very small but at least we can play around with furnishing some.

That way people could sell a lot more stuff on the market. As it is now any free company that buys a house will obviously have a lot of crafters at max level so they can just make anything.

I'm hoping that this is how they do individual housing because the mog house in XI was awesome. They could possibly allow us to pay for bigger rooms/houses though.

I was thinking about this myself - given the size of the FC houses, how big should the personal houses be? Personally I'd like it to be something along these lines:

Small: apartment the size of an inn room. Condos maybe? I like your idea, but since characters can switch Grand Companies, where would that leave them?
Medium: Small FC house.
Big: Medium FC house.
