For the love of God, don't decrease the difficulty of end-game dungeons. Everything before Titan is ridiculously easy, even without gear and even the new dungeons. You do DR runs and afterwards do WP a few times, get some WP/AK gear while you build up Tomes for DL gear. Can easily get about 500 in around 2 hours. I run into plenty of low level players running these dungeons and when I was a low level these were still easy. The Giant Tomberries in WP are a joke and I wish they'd fix them so we couldn't just run through them with no s**ts given.

Also, don't increase the difficulty of low level dungeons... they're easy for a reason. Low levels have to be able to do them and they can't make them hard so high-levels can run them. Lowering stat caps means low levels get capped, too, and even with the stat cap they're still really easy.

As for rewards being calculated by how long a dungeon SHOULD take, that's how they work. They except WP/AK to be done in 20-30 minutes. They expect the new dungeons to take 30-40 minutes (though, some are completing them much faster).

You also can't leave a DF group and join again for a better geared group. You're locked out for 30 minutes and most slow runs take around 30 minutes, so you'd be wasting your time completely...

Not to mention Titan HM DF is the place people go to practice Titan HM because they've never done it before. Join a pre-made group. Titan HM is the only time you should be running into anything being too difficult without good gear, and of course it needs good gear considering what you get for beating it.

Here's a link to a bunch of rotation and DPS numbers I wrote up to try help BLM see they aren't as weak as they might think.

There is a difficulty progression and rewards are increasing accordingly.

Here are the rewards (stolen from ffxivguild.com) :
    Castrum Meridianum : 100P - 0M
    The Praetorium : 100P - 0M
    Amdapor Keep : 100P - 30M
    The Wanders Palace : 100P - 30M
    Copperbell Mines (Hard) : 100P - 50M
    Haukke Manor (Hard) : 100P - 50M
    Pharos Siruis : 100P - 50M
    Crystal Tower : 200P - 50M

I pretty much agree with it, except maybe for Crystal Tower where the difficulty is not really in game mechanics but rather getting 24 people play together.

What's wrong right now is that the Duty roulette doesn't scale with content's difficulty (WP gives the same roulette reward as Pharos Siruis), while the same group can fail Pharos @ 90mins and clean WP in less than 30mins.

I wish the "random" dungeon for low level would be closer to my level sometimes. I literally can't remember ever getting anything other than Sastasha, or Copperbell. Usually at least three of us are level sync'd, if not all 4. It seems like it's encouraging sloppy play, bad habits, and undergeared players (you get more xp/time from running a random, then queing for the dungeon that's actually appropriate for your level).

First of all. If you look at the lvl requirements for the low lvl daily roulette is 16?. So, it's going to be one of the first 3. Second of all, and this is the big one, how can you say "dungeons don't teach you to play because they are too easy" when most people fate grind to 50 their first job and know absolutely nothing about group play? At least in a dungeon others can teach one on one. Where as fates create imbecile tanks that can't control 2 mobs at a time in SV? Dungeons are perfect. Fates are breeding grounds for morons.

Wanted to clarify. I leveled /played pre 2.1. The pre 50 dungeons were harder back then and much more fun. . Now DR throws in 2-3 high level overgeared people (including me), and level normalizer is not nerfing them hard enough. People just skip mechanics and force their way through the dungeon because that is the best (normalizer is UP). People are leveling faster but hte experience is now bland and boring with no challenge. I'm ok with more experienced helping less experienced teaching mechanics, but not cool with gear tuned too high and trivializing content.

On the other side, fresh 50 dungeons are now too hard. Pharos is way too hard for i55 players which is what it's designed for. The tuning on that is so hard compared to AK, I' starting to wonder if they did any testing and tuning at all. Since ak now drops i55; and you need to run pharos for i60, they effectively made the game much harder than before.

This is an obviously not as intended, EZ trivialized early level dungeons only to hit a brick wall at 50.

as Titan HM; i'll stand by and say it's impossible for i57 to pass that in 2.1+. Waiting for any evidence. I doubt any of hte posts here who claim it's doable actually tried. currently, even i67 avg PUGS have a hard time killing heart stage. Dont' make it easier, just make the ilvl requiremtns higher for pugging which is totally irrelevant to skill. Most people are getting throgh titan HM by twink FC members; give us small FC members a chance since we rely on DF much more.

The only way to progress is the most boring but easy way. Casturm runs which are skill-less zerg fests that give you i70 gear after you grind it. No challenge and you effectively skip the fun development and content of progressing from i45>i70 content.

I have heard tons of complains for fellow FC members that are telling me that getting Pharos for High Level Roulette really burns their time with the ilvl 55~60 gear people it is meant for. For me, have not unlocked it

I don't believe the low level dungeons need to be made more difficult or gear needs to be nerfed more by level sync. I think it's just a case of forgetting that these dungeons are indeed piss easy. For many players, the first three dungeons are the first party content they've done (Some may have done guildhests, but most don't). Players still learn, but what they're learning are the basics.

As for making the high level dungeons easier, I think it's mainly just Pharos Sirius (Or there's some trick to the bosses that needs to spread through the community. Copperbell isn't too tough, and while I haven't done Haukke yet, I haven't seen many complaints either.

I did Haltari this AM with DF Roulette group in 30mins on my LvL21 2nd job archer in 30mins, yes it was trivial. I got 1000+ XP per trash mob and got the whole level to 22. Yes it is trivial for the second job but you will have to acount for the super-casual crowd, like the WHM that wears LvL30 gear and wipes normal Garuda because she runs out of MP. Or the LvL50 archer with the LvL47 grey bow......

If you want to change dungeons, they should have iLvL requirements, a 50 with an grey weapon has no business in HM primals.
