i want to know the use of this skill ...it reduce magic resistance for 10% of monster .... but someone told me why i use it when there is no BLM in party ...

If he is right why they put that on a BRD if its a BLM skill ???? right

and i thought most skill is magic and got magic element to it.
windbite .. got wind magic damage on it
flaming arrow, poison arrow .....and many other ..

but flaming arrow = fire right ..aint that element ?????
windbite ...cos a wind attack and give wind damage over time aint that element ?????
venumous bite ... poison ... poison is a element normaly from old FF series

every class have few element skill damage

Foe Requiem decreases elemental resistance by 10%, it's perfect if you use it when you have a BLM in your Party.

If you don't have a BLM in your Party don't use it.

Bard has only 1 elemental damage type - Flaming Arrow.
Windbite says it's Wind based but it does no wind damage at all.

Bard is a Support Dps, your mission is to Dps and Support your party with songs.

Foe Requiem does nothing for Bard alone, it's a support skill for Magic Casters.

Again: Foe Requiem in a Party with no Black Mage is useless. Bards do not profit from Foe Requiem.

If my knowledge is correct, Foe Requiem affects WHM and SMN spells. I know for sure that WHM gets a boost from it (Holy is very noticeably stronger with foe requiem up) and seeing as Holy is unaspected element, I assume that SMN's spells also get affected.

Holy is Holy element, not unaspected. And it's a 10% dmg increase.

I never heard a SMN ask me to Foe Requiem, so I guess that the song doesn't affect them that much, maybe it affects their Summons but even about that I am not sure.

ballad is your most useful skill and 99% of you brd's fail at your role. WHM in panic no MP guess what brd's dont even bother tossing a ballad and let the party die.

i used ballad when is 1/2 or 3/5 of MP ... cos each time i got it on and healer almost full i get yell at to turn it off
and you can add battle voice that increase effect of songs to help boost MP faster

Hmm, are you sure about SCH/SMN? Our spells' tooltips say "Unaspected" and I don't know if I've noticed a difference with or without requiem, but still, most of my damage is DoT anyway. I'll have to watch the battle log next time.
