Carpenter and Weaver to 50, for their 50 cross class skills. Then whatever skills you want to get, in whatever order you want them in.

Get everything to 15 first (for cross skills). Shouldn't be too difficult, considering most of the materials can be purchased from NPCs. Along with Carpenter and Weaver, I'd also recommend maxing out Goldsmith for Innovation. I actually did GS first. Rocks are cheap and some jewels sell for decent on the market.

If you are buying the mats, you already lost the spirit of crafting.

    Give up now.

You can buy cotton cloth off a vendor, which may or may not be worth it depending on how low the bots have undercut shard prices (and how much time you want to spend making cotton yarn/cloth). Can also get velveteen cloth off a vendor now, too. Used to be a major block for aspiring Weavers.

Carpenter's 50 ability is worth it and should be a top priority. The Goldsmith one is as well (goes off Miner instead of Botany of Carpenter, though if you buy mats it doesn't matter). The Weaver one is nice, but it's just an upgraded version of the 15 ability. Pretty solid number 3, though. May be more valuable to you than GSM one depending on your crafting style.

LTW is nice to have simply for the stuff it makes. The 50 ability itself is trash - have to really try to make it useful and there's multiple alternatives that do the same job better. The Blacksmith ability is nice to have, but not really needed.

Unless, of course, those mats cost less than the shards it takes to make them. Then I say let someone else make them for you.

All crafts to level 15. Then culinary to 37. Then it depends on how much money you want to spend. If you keep then all about the same level they can all use the same gear(except tools of course) and you don't have to purchase any item needed from other crafts can just make them yourself.

Skill wise(level 50s). you want Weaver or Carpenter 1st and 2nd. Weaver is a little less useful, when leveling other crafts since you already have a 100 progress skill(weaver level 15 skill). Then Goldsmith. Then Alchemist. That will give you all the skills needed to 100% HQ 2* gear with 340Craft(use food when doing the 40 Dur mats), 340Control and 373CP(Use food)

People love Crp for Byregots Blessing, but honestly I think it's overrated. It might be amazing for lv50+ crafting, but it's just not that useful for lower level stuff. After all the level 15 abilities, Steady Hand II from Culinary is amazing. Master's Mend II from GSM is pretty great too.

At low levels I feel I'm better off using my stacks of Inner Quiet on Rumination than BB on 40 dur items. If I use BB, then it takes TWO turns to finish the progress bar using Careful Synth. With Rumination, I can use ONE TURN of Standard Synthesis (and have the CP for Steady Hand if I need that too). Ideally, I'll use BB, and have steady hands up, and the CP for standard synth... but it seems like it doesn't work out that way as often as you'd hope.

    Ideal:
    Inner Quiet
Steady Hands (need SH2 to eliminate rng)
3 touch skills - probbaly basic touch to save CP
    Master's Mend
    Touch
    Steady Hands
    Touch
    Byregots Blessing
    Standard Synthesis

    Real:
    Inner Quiet
    Tricks of the Trade
    Steady Hands II
Standard Touch because you got good condition
    Basic Touch
Standard Touch because you got good condition
    Master's Mend
    Standard Touch
    Steady Hands
    Standard Touch
OOPS!! Not enough CP for both BB and Standard Synth so, Standard Touch
    Rumination
    Steady Hands
    Standard Synthesis
Basically, you have to substitute Basic Touch for Standard Touch in order to save the CP for standrd synth at the end. So using BB does come at a cost of using basic touch instead of standard touch TWICE.

If you need to use Standard Synth to complete progress in one turn, while the other synths take two turns, then the 'free' CP from rumination is even more valuable.
