in other words, they buffed ifrit's resist rate. And other mobs as well.No they didn't. They changed Diminishing returns. Instead of the immunity timer starting after the first application, it starts after the third. Which is how it is in other games. This isn't something special about Ifrit, diminishing returns is on the status effect itself, not the mob.
Except no, resist rate means a mob has a inherent resist to something, typically meaning it has a chance to resist said debuff at any given time. Diminishing returns is the same across all mobs. Outside of ones immune to stun. And even then, it would still apply, they just have a flag saying stun does not work.
So, no, they didn't buff Ifrit. They actually reduced his Eruption damage. And it's more of a fix anyways.
