BlueRising is a group of players on the Goblin server.
This group is unlike any other I've played with in any game.

Take the usual scenarios and throw them away, they do not apply here.
Stuff like:

A few "popular" members hold the carrot out to everyone else to get them to participate.
The leader gets all the loot first. Then his girlfriend. Then all his best friends, then the best ass-kissers. etc etc...

Hardcore scheduled, calendar-driven, participation-tracked...fun?

yeah...

All of the bad things that end game groups of players are known for don't happen here.

Hi, My name is Soric Reisa.
I play on Goblin server and, just because I want to,
I thought I'd make a post here describing the FC I've been so lucky to get invited to.

We're always looking for new members who want a group they can feel like they are a part of,
something that isn't an exercise of
"climb the social aspect"
and
"What have you done for me lately?"
An MMO elitist would be the minority in here.

Notable Stuff:

We've raised over 20,000,000 gil for player housing and we did it together.
No one exhibits greed.
People are constantly dropping gil into the box just because they can.
I am always seeing people letting others have a drop because they haven't gotten anything recently or because they sound excited to see it.
Or because of cake... I think that was why...
Our "leader" lets us just run ourselves. He pretty much just fishes all the time... <3
We decide together what we want to focus on. Everyone gets a say.
Right now, it's more gil for player housing, more coil clears, lots of HM and EM primals.
We don't have "ranks" just labels of how far you are in the game, and how ready you are to do things.

We have a growing PvP team that rocks the pit no matter what time it is.

Our craftsmen have an ample stock of anything and everything.
Our members get all synths for free, including relic double-melded base weapons.
Even i70 philosopher tome items for members who've been with us for at least a few months.
When I say free, I mean it. No materials, nothing.

We do it because we can.

We do it because we want to have fun together, and that means you have to be having fun too!

We run full on teamspeak every day,
though you don't need to be on it,
you'd be missing out on a lot of funny moments...
plus, personality doesn't translate well in text.
