That's right! No one said anything about forcing others to skip cutscenes, just your own!

But oh wait, if you can auto skip it, everyone will demand everyone to auto skip it! *gasp* Wow, what comes around really goes around, does it?

Lets just manually skip the cutscenes yourself a call it a day? So SE doesn't need to hire more people for programming, don't need to pay more over-time for their staff and o wait, you'll still pay your sub! Wonderful!

1 thing that really irritates me is the combat cut scenes. When some pop out and others don't it hinders the quality of the game. No matter how much u ask people at the start- people are people- naturally rude when it comes to anonmyous MMO atmospheres.

I would like to know how, as a PC user, I can permanently disable my cut scenes for the benefit of the party, as a healer, and watch the cinema at a later time when I'm relaxing.

Seems to me OP wants everyone to skip cutscences. Like I said before do not use df and try to conform a group to what YOU want it to be.

Well your the only one that's ever presented their self this way. The many tanks I've ran on the Roulette Duty Finders are NOT what you currently preach. I was hoping for some tech support for a future config/fix addon for at least an option rather than me and the rest of us to constantly have to manually skip a scene over and over while grinding out dungeons for gear.

Final Fantasy has always been heavy story relate and a lot play cause of the name. The FF fan base and MMO fan base are being mixed and clashing a lot.

I do watch cutscenes and keep up with the story. When I do a dungeon for the first time, I don't care if I'm in a duty finder or a premade party, I watch cutscenes. It's just after I've seen a cutscene once, I don't really need to watch it anymore while repeating dungeons. It's not a huge deal for me to just esc out of cutscenes each time, but it'd be nice to just have it autoskip or never start in the first place if I've already seen it.

Imagine having to esc out of the opening movie each time you start the game, that's kind of how I feel every time I enter a dungeon, start/end a boss fight, or do Castrum Meridianum/Praetorium.

ist called hitting esc. use it there is no need for a disable button. wow doesnt do it. FFXIV doesnt need it

Oh, well if WoW doesn't do it, that changes my opinion completely. After all, WoW is 100% flawless. I don't get why you guys are so against something that wouldn't affect you at all. If hitting esc a few times in each dungeon is what rocks your boat, just don't enable skipping.

What they need to do is split the roulette and story into two different dungeon. If you use roulette it takes you to one if you use DF it takes you to another. Fixed

no they don't its not needed. if your in a hurry make a premade of people who wanna skip c/s if not then shut up and wait for those who WANT story to finish
