My answer was a metaphorical response to your query on how impossible it is to achieve your said goal.

Say... you disabled YOUR cutscene, somehow, then what? What about the other 3 to 7 people who is in your group? You want to disable their "lua" file as well? Or may be have a future patch fix where the party leader can deprive others of their opportunity to enjoy cutscenes which was meant to watch at that time?

You want a constructive answer? Sure, use party finder and get yourself a group who wants to skip cutscenes. But don't expect SE will implement cutscenes toggle functions. Because it is the core element of the final fantasy genre.

Since theyre the ones in NEED and the rest of us aren't, our opinions don't matter.

BTW, I am a tank too and I can tell you, I am not in need.

I've wanted this option for a while. They've implemented cutscene skipping for travel, but not duties yet, as far as I know.

Asdamine, your point of view is narrow. Some people, like me, just want it because we skip them anyways after repeating a dungeon. It would just be nice to not have to manually end them each time, regardless of whether or not we have to wait for other party members to watch.

But that is the trend people goes, right? Some people complaining to others for not skipping cutscenes, and if the toggle cutscene function is implemented, SOME people will complain to others for not ticking the option, then after a while, some people will complain to SE and say removing cutscenes all together.

You do see where I am going, right? The OP calls me semi-flaming, but he failed to realise the potential consequences of what he is asking, before asking it.

It's like people whine about not enough gil, SE put more gil in WP and AK. People whine about not getting Goobue mount, SE put in the damn mount. Now do you see where I am going?

What's stopping people from complaining about removing the cutscenes altogether now? Giving us an option to auto skip isn't going to affect others anymore than people skipping (or not skipping) manually.

Well your the only one that's ever presented their self this way. The many tanks I've ran on the Roulette Duty Finders are NOT what you currently preach. I was hoping for some tech support for a future config/fix addon for at least an option rather than me and the rest of us to constantly have to manually skip a scene over and over while grinding out dungeons for gear.
