    Duty Roulette: Low Level (SPIRIT-BONDING)

I have noticed that it is impossible to spirit-bond iLvL55 gear on low level dungeons.
    I get maybe 1-2% progress.

Level 50 dungeons will net me 15% or more if my items are HQ.

I swap an iLvL55 set in for the trash mobs to spirit-bond and then back to my high level set for bosses. Seeing as every successful set of a dozen gear pieces turned into Materia is worth often hundreds of thousands of gil, it's rather important.

I'm glad for Duty-Roulette providing some greater reason to use every dungeon. The 100 Philo tomes is equal to anything else at 50 after i've done one story-roulette. The problem is that without any Spirit-bonding ability, there's just no reason for me to ever use the low level duty roulette unless i'm leveling a new job.

Would it be possible to include that spirit-bonding can be done on the Duty Roulette: Low Level? Even if it's just once per day? I'd really like to use it, but as of right now, there's little to no point with any of my LvL50 jobs.

You claim to have 32 million gil and you're complaining about not being able to spirit bond in low level duties? Am I reading this correctly?

Gil is largely useless in this game. There are already far too many ways of making gil, I don't think you need any more assistance. This is not an MMO about grinding currency.

If it were up to me, nobody would be able to spiritbond in ANY duty. There is no reason why strangers should carry someone who is not in their best gear. If you want to spiritbond, do it on your own time, theres already plenty of ways you can "double dip" whilst spiritbonding.

I dont have any response for you except to not be so greedy.

lol, spirit bonding only works when you are attacking mobs that are around the same level as your gear. In no way should they ever allow lvl1 mobs to give you the same exp as lvl50 mobs. even for DF its just not how sb works, otherwise everyone would just use the lowest level possibe to spirit bond their gear when there are plenty of other ways to do it.

That's why the topic of this thread is 'Duty Roulette: Low Level'

And neither would i work as hard at my job for $10/hr as i would if my employer paid me $15/hr.
I shouldn't have to use my iLvL70 gear set in an iLvL48 dungeon just because i have it.
You get what you pay for and i have no problem with that philosophy.
But in the interest of not being a total douche, i bring it out for bosses.

But then, in a Low Level Roulette level sync, my iLvL55 gear would be mostly the same power level as that iLvL70 gear set you want me to use full time.
So our disagreement is not an issue then. I can go spiritbond there and everyones happy.

...I don't see what the problem is, besides you being excessively pragmatic/greedy?

If you're not getting spiritbond when doing stuff like Sastasha through the Low-Level Roulette, then it's just game mechanics working as intended. If your wish is to actually make drastically lower level mobs to contribute to spiritbonding, then I'll disagree with you, because it doesn't take a genius to guess the consequences if level 15 mobs gave equal amounts spiritbond to level 50 ones.

If you're not getting spiritbond when doing stuff like Aurum Vale, then I suppose there's a cause for worry. Report as a bug or send in a ticket?

I personally see no reason to do low level roulette on my Lv.50 job.

However, if the Roulette Bonus for a level 50 isn't 10 Myth, but a significant spirit-bonding bonus (for only Lv.50 classes), such that it bonds faster in a low level roulette than in any Lv.50 light party dungeon, then perhaps there's a reason to run it.

And make the bonus tied to the number of enemies killed. This way, high level people will actively clear the full dungeon instead of skipping as much content as possible to get their final reward. Maybe give Lv.50 classes inside low level roulettes a buff that gives Spiritbonding +X or something.
