Any Word on Marriage?

Has there been anymore talk of when/if marriage will be added to XIV? Last I heard, there was some controversy due to the idea of gay marriage in-game. Has this been resolved? Marriage would open up some fun possibilities

I agree completely, but apparently it has something to do with same sex marriage not being as widely accepted in Japan as it is in other places. I'm not sure, but that's the only reason given in every article I've read.

Well, as far as I know nothing has been actually confirmed as yet, but, on the last Live Letter from the Producer, amongst other things Yoshi-P showed off what appears to be a bridal carriage pulled by chocobos and what seems to be interior of wedding chapels (one I assume is the interior of the Sanctum of the Twelve in the East Shroud, the other has a very maritime feel to it, suggesting Limsa). No one seemed to notice them due to all the vitriol going around at that time about housing sadly though, which explains the lack of talk on the subject.

Anyway I'll try and find links to the screenshots I've seen floating around of it and post them here.
