I have an idea that may be in the works. To give people incentive for owning a house *Wink wink* more inventory *nudge nudge*, How about certain buffs for interacting with items in the house.

So, anyone with a house will get a new "Interact" action. Using Interact while targeting an item in your house will give you a buff.

Examples:
Target a bath and use "interact" The cast bar appears and counts down from one minute. Meanwhile, there is an animation of your character in their skivvies (or current armor if that's too hard to program) and takes a bath. After one minute they get out and receive the buff "Clean as a Whistle!" This buff boosts Disease/Virus/Poison resistance for 1 hour.

Target a training dummy and "interact" with it. The cast bar comes out and again counts down from 60 seconds. Your character will auto attack for that time and when done, they get the buff "Battle Readiness" that lasts for an hour. This buff will boost STR/DEX/VIT by like, 5 or something, not too OP.

Target a bookshelf and "interact" with it. Your character will take out and read a book for 60 seconds. After which, they recieve "Bookworm" Which boosts INT/MND/PIE by 5 points for one hour.

Target a larder/refrigerator and interact with it. Your inventory will open and you select a food item. Your character will then eat a meal for 60 seconds, after which they receive "Home Cooked Meal" that lasts an hour and increases the stats of the food by like, 5.

I think it would give more people a reason to have a house, AND give them a reason to come home every once in awhile to get rebuffed.

Like? Dislike?
