The new hairstyles !

Hi !

I'm seeing a lot of people with the new hairstyles that Jeandelaine offers you when you calls him.

But for me, as a Female Miqo'Te, I can only choose the old standart ones in the list.

Am I missing something ?

Well.. I've never heard about that "Lightning Returns" quest so please tell me

I only know that the "Beauty Is Only Scalp" quest is Completed in my Journal ! I've got the token and all

The quest lasted until December 9 IIRC.

Indeed, it's the "Lightning Strikes" event and I totally missed it !

Too bad, I wanted those long-hair so bad for my Miqo'Te

The quest will be back around February so you still have a shot

It'll be back in feburary.

Although Lighting's hairstyle isn't very good....the shaders on the hair are notably worse than the starter ARR hairstyles, as if it came straight from XIII. Doesn't benefit from this game's lighting engine at all.

So in direct lighting it just kind of looks....odd.

Supposedly they are looking into addressing various issues with the hairstyle (especially the weird mesh issue when water is in the background)
