    PVP Potions and other Items

Is anyone using PVP items to much effect?

I've been using sleep ward potions, but all it seems to do is lower the initial duration rather than give me a chance at a real resist.

The feathers on the other hand... Icarus Wing and such, have been pretty cool. It's nice to pop sprint as a Tank or DPS then get some TP right away so that you can actually swing when you persue.

I'm hoping that the PVP potions + PVP materia will add up to be useful in terms of resisting outright things like sleep, bind, heavy, etc.

Anyone else make use of these to effect?

Also, I'd love to put Potion use into my macro rotations, but I can't find a command similar to /item or /use. Is there one?

If you look at the stat description, it's purely to lower the duration.

Since you've been using potions, I wish to ask: does the -x reduce the initial duration by x or x%?

By that I mean, does Sleep Resistance +15 turn a 30 second Sleep into a 15 second Sleep, or a 25~ second Sleep?

I've actually been wondering this myself. If the former, then by stacking PVP food and materia one could become effectively immune to certain annoying status effects.

Do Sleeping, Paralyzing, and Poison Potions work in PVP? I can't get them to work.

by stacking materia and potions/food, it is possible to make an initial sleep only several seconds long yup.
outright resisting however.. i don't remember correctly if the resistance builds up natively.
but you would have to keep the potion usage up to a maximum to accomplish that though. it's certainly going to be an expensive ordeal.

resist potions do, curative potions and ether do too. however, spinedrops, antidotes and the likes do not.
