Because 11 SS is completely useless, 11 piety is not, even if you don't have MP problems.

Eh, I grabbed the Vortex Ring of Healing, since the Allagan one hasn't dropped for our group yet, and it's better than the Darklight ring I was still wearing. Apart from rings, though, yeah, most of the new stuff isn't all that great for us.

just a tip, dont +1 your book, relic book is a complete garbage, and trust me you can do t5 the same way with +0.
IF you only play sch, and have nothing else to get with myth, ok, go for it, but its a huge waste of myth.

Yeeaahh... that's not true. The magic damage alone makes it the very first upgrade you should get.

Exactly. I got a larger boost in heal points through +1-ing my book than through spending tomes for any single piece of gear. Unless you're with a party that has Twintania on farm (which is not likely since you need at least +1 or at least the EM wep to even get this far in coil), you should always +1 your wep.

i only didn't see many people mention this but the vortex ring of healing (Garuda EM drop) is our new BiS second ring (hero's still being the first). it trades the PIE on toe allagan ring for spell speed which is desirable assuming you aren't having MP issues (which you shouldn't). someone posted about this earlier but they got the stats wrong (had VIT instead of MND) leading someone to discount it but it's worth getting for sure.

I think this is somewhat debatable. 3 main stat goes a long way. it's the reason i dropped my astral ring for an i90; i missed out on some exit and vit but MND is so valuable that it outweighed the loss.

Most of the time i90 stuff will win unless you need the HP from melds(T5). People need to remember that crit/det/ss don't have a 1:1 value with MND and MND will always win, hands down.

How about you both are wrong? Hero's Ring and Astral Ring HQ (melds - Vit IV, quicktongue IV, Savage Aim III's x2, Piety IV) are still BiS for SCH, so the other poster was correct that there's nothing for SCH in these new extreme primals. But as for piety vs. spell speed argument, piety is the clear winner for WHM. For SCH, it really doesn't matter. They're both about the same (lowest tier). Piety was a slight winner pre-patch, but now that spell speed effects your pet as well, it's not completely worthless. Mana shouldn't be a problem for SCH in any situation, period. I don't even have energy drain on my hotbar. I always use my aetherflow stacks and hit it again as soon as it comes off cooldown. The only time I was mana starved when I solo healed Titan HM, but I think it was my mistakes because I have seen even WHMs solo heal it without being mana starved.
