The Kult of Bahamut Free Company Introduction!

Kult of Bahamut is a Legacy Endgame Free Company and Social Linkshell on the Excalibur Server.

Formerly known as Koruption Inc, the Kult of Bahamut chose to rename itself with the coming relaunch. We chose the name because Bahamut represents both the passing of FFXIV 1.0 and the rebirth of FFXIV:ARR. We spell Kult with a K to commemorate our KI roots.

We began playing on the Bodhum server in the early days of 1.0. With the new game launching we have sent out a call to arms to our former friends and allies and have seen a number of them return to take up their weapons, shields, and staves once more. Our player base comes from a variety of timezones, all over the U.S. and even some returning European players. While we may not be considered hardcore in the hours we spend playing, many of us are working adults and parents who play the game as often as we can, we are eagerly awaiting the relaunch so we can set about devouring the game's end game content. We are dedicated to helping each and every member of the Kult accomplish every goal they desire. In return, we expect that same dedication to the Free Company's goals from each and every member.

Selectively Recruiting

Casual players are always welcome of course, but for end game minded players we are currently seeking savvy, coil ready players to optimize three groups that are ready and experienced in the ways of the coil. We need the following classes for raid at the following times:

Mon-Sun @ 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM EST

Need 1 Coil ready Bard and 1 Coil Ready White Mage to round this group out.

Mon-Sun @ 2:00 am - 6:00 am EST

We are looking for a lot in this late night/early morning group. We need 2 tanks, 2 healers, and 1-2 Bards (Or DPS that can go as Bard, mostly for turn 2).

Tue-Sun @ 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM EST

Hardcore and Casual players are welcome. We will find a place for anyone. Crafters will be supported by our PvE members who will in turn support our PvE players back. PvPers are welcome both for internal PvP and external PvP progression. Our sights are set on anything and everything this game has to offer so as long as you are a mature adult and willing to dedicate yourself to helping others in the company, we have a place for you in KoB.

As a blended Company, we're going to try and be very flexible on this. Currently what we are doing is setting a range of dates and events up and letting our members sign up for them when they can attend. If enough people sign up, the event will go off without a hitch. If there aren't enough people, the proposed date will just get deleted.

Typically, we have a lot of people who play nights. I think our prime event times will be 9:00 pm - 1/2:00 am EST. We will also probably alternate event times on weekends to allow people the max amount of freedom. So sometimes we will do a mid day event on Saturday/Sunday, and sometimes we will do late night events Friday/Saturday.

KoB is always looking for members. We're focused on end game content. Many of our members have slain Garuda (still farming weapons from her) and are ready for Titan. We're also busily farming stones and gearing up. Its a great time to join up so check us out!

Another FC solicit this morning. A number of KoB members are through Titan and have their Relics. Some of us will even have +1s this week.

We are now ready to challenge the coil. We need Tanks and Healers like everyone else. We have forums that are open to the community and we are even looking for alliances with other FCs that we can team up with for larger man content.
