    Honestly, the original concepts alone will keep me convinced Auri are the Dragonborn of FFXIV minus the breath powers: https://www.dualshockers.com/final-f...to-au-ra-nsfw/

    Given how far ahead a story is planned, I seriously wonder why Auri initially were conceptualized (based on the art of a female with a dragon and one of the male designs being full on anthro dragon) as being more blatantly related to dragons if supposedly the reason was Ishgardians wouldn’t accept a dragon-related WoL. Sure, concepts aren’t exactly canon, but at the very least they were always meant to be draconic in design. Now I just wish they at least left in some more dragon-like features like the scaly claw “gloves” or even had the awesome jaws as an option for the boys.

    I just hope we eventually go back to exploring more dragon lore at some point.
