PvP: Sleep and win!

Drink a poison pot, you wake up on 1 tic of the poison, anyone tried this?

Haven't had the chance, but with how many people are complaining I just assume this doesnt work. But since the day of I've been curious as to if it does. (I'm assuming it doesn't. Pre-existing dots don't wake mobs either)

IIRC, Poisoning Potions can't be used on friendly targets, not even on your own character. I know it works (or it used to work...) on FFXI, but it's not the case on FFXIV: ARR.

I have no real interest in PvP. But is PvP armor something you get fast, and that works well for PvE? I've seen the materia is disabled but I don't quite need that to do decently anyway.

why you need pvp armor with morale and without materia in pve is beyond any common sense.
Btw, there is a potion who remove sleep used on a party member, if someone is survived the first sleep it have some use

I only took a quit look and it looked like regular stats to me. Determination, Crit etc. But I guess maybe not all of them are suitable for PvE.

I've had no issues with BLMs or sleep. Its really not that hard to deal with really. As long as you have a semi competent team. I've ended NUMEROUS matches with blms having 0 damage done because they tried to sleep spam the entire fight.

Go ahead, sleep spam me. Ill laugh when you die.
