    BRD still good post 2.1?

    So I seen some No BRD crap and wanted to know if BRD was still worth leveling to 50?
    My BRD is 34 its either gear DRG out in Relic or finish BRD and go from there.

    Did a Titan fight with x3 BRDs and it was pretty awesome. Thanks

    I think bard is still good. Noticed a little drop in DPS for static battles but given that the new EM primals and Ultima involves ALOT of moving, I find myself still generating more hate than the other DPS (unless they used quelling strikes). I think our high up time and being ranged still gives us some good advantage to a 8-man team.

    we consistently bursted down our section before everyone else did.

    Brd still gets the added effect of being able to jump the gun/range, and still pretty good burst.
    Testing on dummies i got this, all similar(gear relic/DL/AK ring) Drg using AK body.
    Sustained dmg Mnk(can't test this assuming still @1)>Drg>Smn>Brd.
    Can't test Blm, mnk is a estimate. My ilv86 Pld in sword oath dose withing 2-3dps of my brd.
    Parsing others lately A blm and Mnk around the same item lv can do about the same dps, assuming depending on thunder/fire procs tho?. Not uncommon for my drg to beat similar or better geared blm's.
    The overall brd nerf wasn't that bad, but was pretty bad if that makes sense.
