So with 2.1 came some much needed changes to our Fairies. Having them blow their long CD abilities on nothing was infuriating. But the changes weren't perfect, and kind of made things more annoying, in different ways.
The first thing is changing the name of the Adloquium buff. Galvanize? Really? I want my Adloquium buff back! I know it's a simple name change, but I didn't think it was needed and confused me for a minute or so. Not really a big deal, but hey.
The fairy commands. Oh, this is a blessing and a curse. No longer will Eos blow her abilities, but I also can't command her without targeting an enemy and telling her to Obey either. You can't manually use her Embrace with her automatically using her other abilities.
I understand wanting to lock you out of using her abilities when she's in Auto mode, but I really, REALLY don't want to be forced to target an enemy to hit Obey. Why should we? We're healers, and we target players. Just let us hit Obey without targeting anything! I have to leave town just to be able to manually click Embrace out of battle, and re-summoning her in battle if she dies is annoying as hell. Things are probably chaotic if she died to begin with, and you have to take precious seconds you un-target your tank, target an enemy, and hit Obey.
The other problem with Obey, I've noticed, is that she stops following you when you press it! I have to assume this is a bug, because it makes no sense. Again this is a huge issue, because when you re-summon your fairy in battle not only do you have to tell her to Obey, you have to tell her to follow. It just feels like extremely unnecessary micro managing.
The other thing I'd like is to be able to get the fairies to automatically use some abilities, but not others. Like for Selene, have the time I don't care when she uses skill speed or spell speed, I just alternate them on cooldown. Why can't she do that herself, while letting me click Embrace?
Anyways other than those few points (which are fairly minor, easy to fix, and probably bugs) I'm really enjoying the changes, and healing 2.1 content in general.
