Thread: [Poll] White Mages, have you ever used Cure III?

In 2.1 there will be quite a few class/skill balance going on, but so far I haven't heard anything about the Cure III, which I think is the most useless skill/spell in the game (although I don't really know much about other classes/jobs).
But maybe it's just me, so I'd like to have a poll to see what other people think/experienced.

[Poll] White Mages, have you ever used Cure III?

A. Not once / It's not on my hotbar
B. A few times, just for fun / Overcure pops
C. A few times, in the situation that it's better than using any other healing spells
D. A lot, but they are not necessary
E. A lot, and in those cases it's better than using any other healing spells
F. Other

Additional: I know a skill/spell that even less useful than Cure III. (Can be other class/job)

For me, B.
I used it exactly ONCE, when Overcure pops and I want to see what the spell looks like

I use in WP if I pull some aggro on speed runs. I stack on tank and use until they regain aggro.

I imagine as an emergency cure it can be used with swiftcast to get someone dangerously low on hp.

Titan - Top players off between Geocrush and Earthen Fury without worrying about ticks of Tumult/Weights killing players. We always stack, but if we don't, Medica II works better.
BC Turn 4 - Enrage. Cure III is more HPS/HPM on the group than Medica while Medica II is ticking. Between Cure III's I toss a Cure II on the tank, which sometimes procs a Cure III.
BC Turn 5 - 4 stacked fireball. Tops everyone off as long as the Scholar uses a Succor. Doesn't generate as much threat as Medica II, allowing the offtank to be second in aggro (and not get conflag'd).

You should use it when its necessary. Its a very good skill when its timed right.

I relish the opportunity to hit of bunch of people with it. It's just very rare. There's a decent number of times, like the turn4 enrage timer that it could be really useful, if you get everyone trained to stack up.

In concept the remote-AOE is something I like...it'd be nice if there was more utility to it.

C Sometimes it has its moments like when dps and off tanks are in proximity but usually no. Its in the far corners of my crossbar lol. Its challenging to time it right which is something I enjoy but its a bit too small. Maybe if it was like 1/3 the size of a medica It'd be more useful.

I only used it once because the crit buff was up, lol'd at it and then proceeded to move it to the forgotten part of my hotbar, which is as close to removal as you can get without actually removing it, "just in case".
