Thread: Horrible CPU Usage Issues/Throttling since 2.1

OK before all the people saying "update" ill tell you now that I have ALL the latest frameworks, drivers, patches and everything that could possibly be relevant to performance issues!!!

My spec (is getting old, planned upgrade to a FX-83 or 84 series in early 2014)
AMD Phenom XII 840 (piece of crap but chugging along still at 3.75ghz on air for 4 years now)
Radeon 7850 2gig OC Ed
Gigabyte AM3+ mobo
8gigs of Gskill Ram
SSD (swap)
WD blacks for storage/OS

CPU usage never got above 50% pre 2.1, now having MASSIVE issues with my CPU sitting at 100% on all Cores...

Just wondering what the *** they did to their code to have this happening now - also noticing my Radeon 7850 is hardly being used anymore while running the game - before it'd sit at 45% now its barely scraping 25%

And this is on a system that plays COD : Ghosts at 45fps on Med/High Settings (Tho thats more to do with DX11 and my GFX card)

bump - anyone know of any solutions on AMD based machines? have had some success setting the priority to above normal/high in tskmgr
