"one or more items is not the specified color"

I have this icon beside my Archer gear set that says "one or more items is not the specified color" what in the world does that mean exactly?

It means you have dyed it, and though you equip the item properly, it wants to look for the original color first, then the same item no matter the color, just equip it and resave the gear set and you should be fine

You might have dyed your gear and forgot to re-register to reflect the color change.

That's just to let you know that while it found the item in your inventory, it isn't the same color (and this might not necessarily be the same one you used before).
