    As sad as it is..people wanted the FATE system because it was just SO AWESOME AND THE NEXT BEST THING EVER IN GW2 THAT FFXIV ARR JUST ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE IT!

    Agreed... it's bad enough that other quests require you to do FATEs, but at least for those you can grit your teeth, do the FATE, and be done with it for that quest forever.

    For dailies, it just puts a black mark against the whole experience. Already, every time I pick up my three dailies for the Sylphs it's with a sinking feeling in my stomach as my brain just repeats "not the FATE, not the FATE, not the FATE, please not the FATE..."
