i don't think people would be so happy of low drop rates.

Maye they shouldn't have used the drop system, but tokens instead. Limited tokens, that is enough for 1 piece, does not sound as terrible as limited rolls on loot.
I guess we'd still have the people complaining it is only a Monday game, because they get their piece on Monday and then see no reason to play. But really, if you don't enjoy the game and only play to get items, I think SE could do better with just adding an item NPC you can log on mondays and pick an item up at. That way everyone only needs to play 2 minutes a week to get their "enjoyment".
Idk, i think its a better system, especially since you can run this dungeon until your fingers bleed and your eyeballs fallout. It would give people a better reason to re run the dungeon.
I am hearing about people getting their item and then bailing the run. Or asking to be kicked so they don't get 30min cool down.

I actually wish the system existed in all 8 man content too. People with no self control will play the crap out of a game, more power to you, but they are also the first to complain there's "nothing to do" after they maxed out their character in 2 weeks to a month. Those people I can do without.Idk, i think its a better system, especially since you can run this dungeon until your fingers bleed and your eyeballs fallout. Tbh, I play the crap out of the game and have next to no self control, and I never complain about 'nothing to do'. I can't wait to get off the gear tredmill for a while and have time to just kick back and enjoy content because its fun, not because I need a given loot.I actually wish the system existed in all 8 man content too. I don't see anything wrong with that, its the community working with each other like we should in an MMO.
I know I will get flamed for saying this but oh well. FFXI Loot systems were probably the best I've seen. Maybe not the means they implemented to get to said fights (Sky Gods Etc). But it kept people busy that played the game, and gave them something to work towards. Items dropped and were able to be obtained. It wasn't up to the Devs if a player could obtain it, it was up to the LS leaders or whether it was your pop set for BCNMs etc.
i wish the lockout didn't exist so i could skip dl and grind ivl 50 req dungeon ct 24/7 for my bard without spending any philosophy *sigh* OH WOE IS ME!
You would still need to mix some DL items into your gear set, or else you will not hit the ACC cap to do content effectively. If you are just blindly going after full sets of armor, you're doing it wrong.
*<------ this is you
*<----- this is the sarcasm that you missed
People were crying for loot lockouts due to coil separating friends. Now people can play with friends and help them even if they are already done with the dungeon for the week and people still complain. I feel bad for SE, damned if they do, damned if they dont.
