I'd tend to agree with this, if 1/2 or more of a party is pre-made they get queued as such. It scales well too, for 8v8 24v24 etc. matches the same general rule can apply. The problem here is what if you only have one or two friends to play with? They can't make separate queues for every number of players, that would divide up the players too much and queue times would be way too long.
I wouldn't mind restricting it to 1-2 players only you still don't have control over half your party so I think it's fine. 3 man is too close to being 4 man.

This is an issue.. teams are trying to gain an advantage against randoms. This is the reason they added the premade category in the first place. ATM people are teaming 3 to try and gain an advantage in lvl 50 pvp. And grouping 4 for the lower lvl pvps.
I am guessing they don't like losing against other 4 man groups that use the same communication they use so they runaway from other premades hoping to fight randoms.
Its to the point I see people shouting to make 3 man premades out of fear of fighting other 4mans and hoping for easy wins against randoms.
Do i want to join your scared 3man? Thanks for the offer but i'll have to pass!!
You are only going to encounter randoms in the lv40 runs. You cannot queue for lv50 vs randoms as a 4 man party.
it's last team standing, and no, it's not an open area. DF only.So what is the arena like? Is it an actual area you can explore? Do you just walk in and it's free for all or is it virtually just a duty-finder mechanic?
I had a vision stadium/ coliseum where it's free-for-all, last man standing wins,lol!
