I really dont understand why SE would make materia given from quest...seriously that was one of the only forms of legitimate gil.
Not sure if the questline is repeatable but with the massive amount of people that can now gain them from a quest i fear materia too will go the way of gear. Now this doesnt effect Vit or Piety but all the other major IV ones.
I just dont understand SE anymore.

Edit: This quest is not repeatable or doesnt seem to be currently.

Edit: Spiritbonding rate has been increased for I55 level items.

Edit: Yes the market was going down but these changes dramaticly affect it. Overall I worry about the economy, those on my sever know I host events where I provide gil to winers every month or so(Christmas event coming up look out). Its not my personal gil im worried about its the overall effect this will have on the game. But I respectfully understand if people dont feel the same.

Well, that's good, it's more for people on new worlds - Many of us legacy had tons of cracked IV materia which is the only reason it was inflated to begin with, because spiritbonding aside, once the supply ran low prices started to skyrocket.

Now some of us have massive amount of gil already. But i fear the direction this is possibly heading for an already shaky economy.

Maybe, im hoping so also, but i fear that they wont recover much as IV rate on binding has also been increased. I think these together are bad choices,
the reason spiritbonding was such a good source of income is because it was really low rate of sucess for IV convert. Now the amount of people with IV
materia is increasing so the price is surely to stay low well atleast for these main ones.
