I'm really glad to see this posted. Burns my chaps when I see people posting something badmouthing the community reps for whatever inane reason.

Nice to see a thread like I'm tired of all the fighting on the forums. The Dev's and the reps are doing a good job of giving us info even tho some people start to go crazy after 4 days w/o info <.<To Bayohne, Rukkirii, Hvinire, Gildrein as well as the Japanese, French and German Community Reps, I would just like to say thank you for your guys' work.
Admittedly, one of my biggest frustrations with Square Enix while I was heavy into FFXI for it's first 7'ish years was the absence of interaction with the community. Almost exactly a year ago now, I made a post on ZAM regarding the lack of community interaction from SE, wondering why we never heard a peep from a community team. I don't blame you guys at all, I know SE Japan must have had you all on a pretty tight leash. I actually remember an interview Robert Peeler (Hvinire) did about FFXIV and thinking to myself... Robert Peeler... who the heck is that?!
With the addition of the official forums, and SE's promise to regain the trust of the players, it is such a nice relief to see you guys responding to our questions and concerns. Even if the answers may sound a bit repetitive at times (most of us realize Yoshida and his team are probably juggling a bagillion balls right now and trying to focus on certain things first), it's still nice to be kept in the loop. A little community interaction really does go a long way, and I just wanted to let you guys know that it's appreciated.
Props to the hard work of the community rep team!
Glad someone posted this, reading the dev response really makes me feel better during this period of down time before the epicness that will be patch 1.18
Thank you community reps for all the information you have been able to provide. Thank you SE for trying to save this game, I believe you will succeed at the end.
Thank you for keeping us up to date as much as you canKeep up the good work on the updates!
No matter how anyone is taking the recent Q&As as useless info, it is only rage about the kind of answers they got, but what needs to be realized is that we at least received some sort of acknowledgement, despite how busy the dev team are. You have to admit, there is always going to be something to work on this game, it needs an incredible overhaul.
Please keep the info coming, as the community here would like to see (hint hint) the direction this game is going. So far, not a single patch has been game-changing, but we know that due time that it will. Thanks for answering our questions (no matter what that answer may be), I appreciate you guys for taking time out of your busy schedule to show you have acknowledged our concerns. Lets all work together to make this game live up to (and exceed) its standards.
Now only if SE could follow in Bungie's footsteps and post weekly updates, every Friday, 5pm PST.
I must have been spoiled in the other MMO's i play because these community reps feel like ghosts ><
I want to know why JP forums gets so much more community rep love then us!?!?
