PS3 Freezes Repeatedly...

It's definitely the new patch. My PS3 never froze before 2.1, but since it's release it's froze 3 times. It's not often for me so it's not that big of a deal, but for others it's more often, it should definitely be looked into.

I'm not experiencing any other problems though, which is kind of a surprise since it was a huge content release.

I've had this happen on the PC as well. Since the 17th my PC has gone to a black screen and crashed to the point where it needs a full system restart. Really frustrating.

Not as frequent as you all, maybe once every few times i play however NPC's and enemies on many occasions do take time to show up.
Fates are bad for some enemies not showing up until a few minutes later

I'm guessing it's a memory overflow issue. same thing used to happen when I played White knight chronicles and there was too much going on at once.
It always happens in a populated area for me while I am crafting. its happened to me 3 times today Lost a HQ vintage coatee .

I've got a freeze (among the others) just during the teleporting animation in Horizon. That really came out of nowhere since I didn't do anything else fancy.

But yes, the number of freezes isn't good post patch. I am up to 2-3 per day.

On the PS3 and my game had froze four times (today and yesterday)...
Twice on East Shroud, couldn't remember the other two locations though. Wasn't doing anything except for just moving around.

Four times now its done this, various locations at various time - crazy thing is that doesnt freeze during high stress moments (FATES, lots of animations etc).
Anyway I've deleted the PS3 client and are re-downloading it now, I hope this fixes it as I'm getting worried about my PS3 :/

2. After a couple of steps in Gridania, game freezes.
*The game froze while saving, corrupting my character config file. After deleting it and trying to play again, it froze doing the same thing (walking through the gate into Gridania) ten minutes later.
