Miser's Mythril, Vortex Headdresses, Inferno Tapers, Unmarked Tombstones - USELESS?

While we were able to exchange Hamlet Seals, Kupo Nuts, Inferno Totems for Allagan Tombstones, can you please confirm:

1. Is there any use for Miser's Mythril (I never turned mine in before 1.0 closed), Alumina Salts (1.0), Vortex Headdresses, Inferno Tapers, Unmarked Tombstones in 2.0?


2. In the case of Miser's Mythril and Alumina Salts (from 1.0) at least, I feel people who earned them but didn't get a chance to turn them in before 1.0 servers went down, should be able to exchange them for Allagan Tombstones (like the Inferno Seals) if there is no more use for them.

FYI: Even though I have an Alumina Salt (that I didn't turn in / was saving up from 1.0), the current Relic Reborn Quest, does *not* allow me to use it (until I clear Chimera in 2.0). So it's worthless and should be traded in as well.

I'd like to be able to clear some Inventory space.

TBH inferno tapers, headdresses and kupo nuts didn't take much skill in acquiring, I guess they have a use planned otherwise they wouldn't still be in the game though.

Definitely. I agree that the Tapers, Unmarked Tombstones and Headdresses were pretty easy to farm. It's just that the FF 14 Team converted all of our 1.0 "unusable" items into Gil, and let us know. Right now, these items are sitting in people's Inventory, taking up space (and server space and adding to their database stress).

It'd be nice to get confirmation from the Devs, and have these items converted to Gil (for the easier ones), and/or all Allagan Tombstones (especially for the Miser's Mythril and Alumina Salts from 1.0). That took effort and time and a full party.

OMG yes please! I have so many in my inventory and they are useless, not to mention i saved up some alumina salts for next relic and they are completely useless?! ;;
come on SE u made the totems worth something why not those?

Doesn't the vendor in camp revenant that sells odin gear give tomes for those.

Definitely agree.

I mean they've already converted 99% of the 1.0 useless items into Gil or allowed us to exchange stuff. The 1.0 Miser's Mythril and Alumina Salts should definitely be allowed to be exchanged for Tombstones.

Ya we should get some compensation for mythril and salts for sure!

Or at the very least, tell us that they won't ever be used for anything and are completely useless so I can get rid of them.

I hope we get a Dev Response on this before Patch 2.1 hits.

Ideally the harder-earned items can be turned in for Tombstones (just like the Hamlet Seals (these were harder to get)), and the lesser items (like Headdresses and Tapers) can be converted to Gil.

They're all just taking up Inventory space right now.
