    I live in the twilight zone. I guess WHM scales more with skill in PVP or something, lustrate + pet spamming heals takes 0 skill.

    Any team would be better if you replaced another dps with a summoner. It's not a question of if, but when/how SE will adjust them.

    I am not saying nerf SMN, but right now SMN is clearly top of the pack. Maybe they may need to remove swiftcast off of cross class, although I can imagine angry mobs on the street if they do so.

    Pvp can be made more fun solely by tweaking the diminishing returns and one small spell called sleep. Sleep has a duration of 30 seconds, lower it to 20 instead. Make diminishing returns more powerfull in this case I'll use sleep as an example, however it can be applied to all types of Crowd Control, including the debuffs on Miasma.

    Sleep 1 ) 20 second duration
    Sleep 2) 8 second duration
    sleep 3) immune.
    Cooldown) 1 minute.

    If they just did that from the beginning, pvp would be much more enjoyable. Also certain skills need a damage adjustment, like Spur + Rouse + Enkindle for smnrs, but also flare for BLM and several other heavy hitting skills from other classes.
