Shiva and her beast tribes speculation

Awhile ago I read that Square were still working on Shiva's beast tribe, and I started looking up information on Shiva's roots and if any animals are associated with Shiva. To rip from wikipedia:
    "
Tiger skin: (The epithet "Krittivasana").He is often shown seated upon a tiger skin,[111] an honour reserved for the most accomplished of Hindu ascetics, the Brahmarishis.[126] Tiger represents lust. His sitting on the tiger’s skin indicates that He has conquered lust.

Serpents: (The epithet "Nagendra Haara"). Shiva is often shown garlanded with a snake.[127] His wearing of serpents on the neck denotes wisdom and eternity.

Deer: His holding deer on one hand indicates that He has removed the Chanchalata of the mind (i.e., attained maturity and firmness in thought process). Deer jump from one place to another swiftly, similar to the mind moving from one thought to another.

We also have a fourth since Shiva is rooted in Hinduism, which are cows.

What I'd like to ask is what do you speculate what kind of beast tribe or tribes would be followers of Shiva, and start a discussion on those possibilities.

My guess is that they're a draconic race that's a part of the Dravanian Horde. The tempered members of that race worship Shiva, while the others have settled in the ruins of Sharlayan and become peaceful. And they'll become playable when the Ishgard expansion comes out.

I doubt this will happen, but I want it to!

The Dravanian Hordes and their location would make sense for Shiva. They seem to thrive in the cold and Coerthas has been plagued by an "unnatural snow" since the Calamity.

    Just food for thought...

That would make sense to use them like that within the story.

Might I throw into the fray that the Mamool Ja don't seem to have a stronghold yet, nor do they have a primal (that is currently known)

Also, I was under the impression that the Dragons would worship a...dragon. I don't think Shiva commands the dragons.

Sylphs don't worship a sylph. Hyur and Elezen don't worship Odin. Titan looks nothing like a Kobald etc

    Bahamut is the Dravanian Primal.

I thought Bahamut was an Elder Primal like Odin attach to no single beast tribe. Otherwise, that's a rather disturbing thought that the bringer of Calamity could be summoned on the whims of a lesser developed society.
