Guildhests: How to Activate?

Hello,
My question is regarding the activation of guildhests.
Until 2.1 implemented them into the story, i did not activate them, and i am having trouble figuring it out.
I am on story line quest "Hest of the Best" which requires me to "use the Duty Finder to undertake the guildhest "Hero on the Halfshell."
I do not have any guildhest in my DF. How do i activate them? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but this has caused me a great deal of frustration, and any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hero on the Halfshell is a Level 30 Guildhest. Which is probably locked for you now.

You have to go to the Duty Finder and play through the Guildhest there. You can't miss it. When you complete a guildhest, you unlock the next hest. Keep going until you complete Hero on the Halfshell.

Upon opening DF, I do not have any "Guildhest" available to me. I am unsure how i activate this.

Are you sure? Well, according to what I found in the net: Unlocking guildhest requires completing level 10 and finishing a leve quest (not guildhest) at the level 10 camp in your starting city.

I have done numerous Lvl 10 leves in Ul'dah & Maelstrom and still have not gotten the access.

Yes none at all. I believe it is due to me not activating them and I do not clearly understand how to do so.

At the level 10 camps there is a Battlewarden in addition to a Levemete. The Battlewarden should have a starter Guildhest for you to do, assuming you've completed the first Levequest starter quest.

Thats the problem, i have completed all the LVL 10 Leve quests in each area, and still the battlewarden tells me i am not yet ready. What am i missing? what am i doing wrong??

This is going to be a long shot. I see you're a 1.0 char. Did you complete the level 10 class quest for the class that you first logged into ARR with? Normally there's a problem with there being a combination of finishing the first leg of the main story quest (the level 10 equivalent that unlocks inn rooms and levequests) and finishing your level 10 class quest to open up certain things.

Normally after you finish the first level 10 Levequest, the Levemete will tell you to talk to the Battlewarden to learn about Guildhests. If this doesn't do it for you, I'd submit a ticket. Make sure to fill out the template correctly else they won't look at it.
