Please Make Hunting Log Useful Post 50
1 Suggestion, may have been already requested, but I don't have time to read all threads, sorry.



Implement Notorious Monsters!

First time only available to those who haven't fought before, and those in your group assisting you with kill.

On first Kill you will receive Gil, Seals, X amount of new Currency related to Hunting Log.

Once you complete a Page from the Log, it can be revisited by farming Pop Items. These can be considered HM versions of the ones in the actual Log.

They spawn a chest upon defeating. Containing rare and glorious loot.

Thoughts on this?

The hunting log is there to aid leveling, it's not supposed to be useful post 50.

You're missing the point. you're trying to take somethign that wasn't designed to be useful post 50 and turn it into something it wasn't meant to be.

Well, I don't see anywhere in my post about FATEs. I said Notorious Monster.

Yes, hence the Reborn and Awoken tag line.

I am trying to make it useful post 50.

And add more of the Open World Feel, that people have been wanting. Rather than everything being Instanced Battles.

Sure, why not? I'd love to have a repeatable page of the hunting log dedicated to bounties for Notorious/Boss monsters. Once completed we could hand it in to our Grand Company, get a reward and unlock the HM version, maybe.

Didn't hunts have targets that were random pop bounty's in FATE's at one point?

They have Bounty with in Leves currently. But only nets you a less than satisfactory Gil Reward.

The Grand Company Hunting logs aren't meant for leveling. They reward 0 exp. So why the hell not have a hunting log for Notorious monsters? It could be a separate tab in the hunting log that isn't individual for a class.
