My only question is if after all the disappointment that accompanied the price announcements (instead of the celebration it was supposed to be) people will still care about housing when (if) they make it affordable.

Personally I don't care anymore, and not really sure if I'll be still playing when individual housing is added. But talk about housing (prices or otherwise) seems to be slowing down considerably both in game and in the forums. Before at least people had the energy to complain about it, but now it's more of a "meh, whatever" kind of situation.

It's dying down because no amount of ire directed at them is getting any kind of response except, "Yeah, pricing sucks. Wait 8 weeks." They're unpleasantly quiet about this entire add-in that I just don't have any faith in it anymore. If the expectation is that after the 3 months only 80% of the FCs out there are in a small house, then that's a piss-poor expectation. They're small. Too small. Cozy is not a definition for a house that if pretty much any FC had all their members in it may crash the instance or kill the connection of players on lesser systems. I've also lost all my faith in personal housing if I'm gonna have to farm 2 million for a small pup-tent because of the AH barons and craftaholics having 50 million by themselves could buy every house in the area. Hopefully they'll take what this small debacle has taught them and not vary the size of individual housing. A small FC house is enough for any one person, but way too small for any FC in the long run.
