They could have easily fixed it in one way...you're only allowed to get 1 loot per boss. Got the loot on the 1st and 3rd bosses, but not the 2nd? Guess what, you're locked out of the loot on the 1st and 3rd bosses until Monday reset. You can still get what the 2nd has on a later run that week though. Better idea IMO.

Its at the point where I wholly expect to see 1-2 tanks and 1-2 healers disconnect after Behemoth. Its pretty much a mandatory occurrence during prime time weekends.

I like it, I always queue for duty in progress and get invites @ 3rd or last boss, where the stuff drops, which I want

This. I was worried about people dropping out when I first heard of the lockout but I've had tanks randomly drop out halfway through and gotten a new tank within seconds. Only time I've had an issue was when a tank pulled a boss and then left because he felt like trolling, but he failed because tanks from the other groups saved the day.

It is a fairly terrible system. Two pieces of tank loot drop early and we both sigh because we know any further tank drops will rot from being locked. Stupid, stupid design. Change it to per boss per week lock, problem solved. With the new myth cap you are pretty much gaurunteed one i90 per week, so why is the i80 gear more random and restrictive?

No one should be shocked that people drop because it is a failed system. In fact, more people should drop to force SE to review it.
