    Needs more of what SE decided wasn't good for the Franchise back in the day.
    CHARACTER DRIVEN STORY OVER PLOT DRIVEN STORY.

    What major character by this point do you know anything about?
    What are their relationships with one another, their histories etc etc?
    It's really really thin.
    Scenes are packed with them talking about events instead of interacting with one another emotionally in context of the scene.

    I liked the main storyline... the extension with this patch was junk and annoying.

    It was nothing but hurdles to get to the final boss guy (no spoilers!).

    I miss actually caring about characters. When that one character died in that one quest somewhere around lvl.40, my reaction was "Meh." Character deaths should have more meaning that that! All the characters were the same, bland people. :\

    You mean Minfila- the generic pretty blonde leader that does nothing except need help and saving isn't new and interesting?

    I liked her better when she was called Firiona Vie.

    At least she had the attitude to look down her nose at her captors.... instead of playing that self righteous routine.

    And I still tend to disconnect when synthing important stuff...

    I'm all for adding a "Save progress" feature to synths so that we may resume the synth, instead of losing our mats, after we disconnect.
