Relic Weapons now pointless

So with the new update to the game Titan weapons are on par with the normal Relic Weapon and the new updated allagan weapons are better stats then the Relic +1 versions. Is there really any point in having the relic weapons anymore now that you can just get an equally decent weapon from Titan and then use that to get an Allagan Weapon, seems like I have wasted all that time doing the relic quest and making my relic +1 just to have it become pointless, three weeks of myth caps wasted. So SE why make Titan weapons on par with the normal relic weapons and why make Allagan weapons more powerful and with better stats then the +1 version. Not going to bother to do anymore relics unless there is an incentive to actually do the relic quests.

Edit: I'm not saying coil isn't easy and neither is Titan, but I liked having my relic be on par with allagan and I liked having my normal relic more powerful then Titan weapons they didn't need to upgrade the weapons like they did.

Getting a group that can even beat Titan once is an achievement for most people, farming him for the weapon isn't an option for them.

Yes. Not everyone can clear turn 5.

Seems like a perfectly good reason why the Relic +1 weapons are still useful.

Most players don't have Coil turn 5 on farm so relic +1 isn't pointless since it's easy to get.

Sounds like you can get an allagan weapon just as easy as +1 relic, right?! ... i mean right? .......

Both kinda useless for some classes and extreme primal weps are better lol making allagan moot for a few classes! Lets whine about that variety.

Like I wrote on my Blog. The Quest line for the relic is awesome. So people might do it just for the questline.

Lets see, to get my Ifrit weapon, I had to run that bastard 30+ successful times. Ifrit is an easy 8-10 minute fight.

Assuming I would have to run Titan the same number of successful times to get my weapon, that should happen sometime around never.

It was significantly easier to down Titan once, even with all the other hoops, that it would be to farm the hell out of him hoping my weapon would drop.

Does it matter? Why bother playing if you want your current gear to be the best there is and will ever be.

Relic is easier to get then the two weapons you have described. It only requires you to beat titan once to get, where as you could get really unlucky with drops and never see the titan weapon.(i for one have never been able to get a weapon for a class i have at 50 from the primals. Only one i have is the pld sword and my pld is lvl 15.)

If you don't have a raid group that clears all 5 turns a week then you can get +1 within 2 weeks, which you can then use to try and get the allagen weapon. But good luck on the rng with that one as well.

If you follow the relic quest, Killing titan ONE time guarantees a relic. Good luck farming him for his (Butt ugly) equivalent.
