yeah, let me wait an hour to do a fate in eastern Larkscall to turn in an item once a day...brilliant way to stretch content...

I really hope they stop using FATEs in everything. They should not be mandatory for anything. FATEs are a fun little distraction to take part in every once in a while, not something that should be thrust upon players. Especially since we have no control on when they pop.
At least now dungeons are the way to level, by far!
I kind of liked it at first, but it got tiresome really quick. I found myself sitting at the place where the FATE would spawn and watching a Movie/TV Show instead of actually playing the game while I wait for it to pop again.
Never really understood why they had it set up to FATE's. Should have had it set up the way they do a lot of story missions. Have an object you interact with that spawns random monsters that you kill and then have a big Odin-scale FATE at the end of the event. That would be MUCH better, rather than exceptionally boring FATE's that we have to repeatedly grind.
I'll still do the events regardless of what I have to do, but I'd rather an event was "eventful" and exciting rather than me rushing through because I only care about the reward at the end.
Moogle: Black Mage ftw.

Here's a link to a bunch of rotation and DPS numbers I wrote up to try help BLM see they aren't as weak as they might think.
Been waiting OVER AN HR for that FATE to begin. Not worth it. Anything not dealing with main story and such involving FATES I am simply skipping. I wont even use them to lvl, such a BORE.
They need to adjust the system in such that if the fate is required for a quest the system detects individuals on the quest in the spawn area and speeds the spawn based on the number waiting or at least pushes it forward in the que of fates in line. Waiting an hour to do a quest is just plain and simple, bad design.
