and if they imply pvp the hole player will have a nice balance pvp. if u dont care on pvp dont imply it

You can work around sleep, though having more of it in your party does boost things a bit. I think as you get up, buy materia for resists it should get better. I go in as SMN but very tempting to start it as a warrior. Plus it just came out so..I'm sure there will be adjustments down the road. Win or Loose..I'm having a blast

Dont all stand on top of each other. Dont stand on top of your healer. Dont have your healer be retarded and run into the enemy team. Make them waste their swiftcasts then esuna/purify out of the sleep then use then abuse the fact that most blms are fairly meh and think their class is just sleep and save a stun for when they use surecast. Actually use your gap closers correctly instead of initiating with them. Then its just understanding who needs to deal with who.

WHM BLM BLM is not that hard to deal with. At lower PvP levels they're going to do 1 thing because most BLMs are bad. At higher PvP levels you'll have access to certain PvP skills that make sleep even less of an issue.

    Also Black Drops.

The great thing about sleep is that the moment you're slept and purify to wake up, you get hit with a reasonable timer of 15 secs which you should really see as 13 secs.
I think if anything should be fixed it should be sleep resist timer and the resist build up should be reset far later than it is at the moment but imho the materia slot use/lack of resist atm warrants the current sleep time. We don't know if we'll have a 50% resistance or 50% effect time.

My prediction: SE will keep war amazingly devastating in PvP so later down the line you must do lolPvE to get PvP stuff... and that will fix the 'lack of tank' issues. /pets cat.

No sleep is not fine! and how is you getting sleep YOUR fault the only defense for sleep is purify after that your screwed, unless your team keeps the blm or whm tied down they will simply sleep you over and over easily done by a decent blm!

No, the number 1 defense for sleep is avoidance. Too many people pay no attention to the position of a whm or blm or rush right it, see it over and over every day. After avoidance you then have purify, esuna and leeches. You can also use food and materia buffs to help manage sleep. Many sleeps are wasted when you have pugs with multiple BLM or a BLM and WHM as sleeps on tops of sleeps= diminishings and a waste of a good CC. Over and over? Not with diminishings and smart gameplay/movement.

Have you even played against a premade with 2 blm's and 1 whm and a war? Honestly don't lie. You can not avoid "Sleep" from 3 mages sprinting with swift cast. 3/4 of them has a sleep, 3/4 has swift cast chain sleep with sprint, 2/4 has a aoe sleep and on top of that the War will instantly run up to your range dps and homg and drop him. You will not "avoid" the sleep or anything else at all

I have never played any pvp where a sleep can last 45 secs or can be recasted constantly over and over. It only takes a team 2-10secs to drop one person without getting healed. Honestly if you have to seriously buy a specific materia and stack it just for sleep, it means Sleep is over powered. Why do you think no one complains about bind, blind, or even STUN locked, because none of them has a 30sec+ duration.

No wonder you don't mind... Just looked at the class you play... BLM... lol figures...

I have played hundreds of pug matches and have come up against 2 blms on more than 1 occasion with a whm (and have won some of these)- not sure how many times a warrior was involved.

Never said it could be avoided 100% of the time (just that avoidance is best defense) and this is where the mitigation I mentioned comes in- purify, esuna, leeches, buffs.... FYI- I find your above scenario easier to manage than one BLM as they are usually casting over one another creating diminishings quite quickly and doing less damage compared to other classes due to focusing on CC.
