Repose?

Seriously, 30 seconds for a sleep? I know you can get purify, but seriously, no immobilizing effect should EVER last more than 8-10 seconds in pvp. Repose and other skills like sleep need a nerf within the pvp arena, otherwise pvp is going to simply fail and the pvpers are going to unsubscribe.

Is there ANY plan to fix this?

Your first problem is that you bought a SE MMO expecting great PvP...SE is not the PvP king, they are the PvE king. There is no story, no plot, nothing to tie to a bunch of players running into an arena and killing each other. Therefore they don't really care. I would suggest you look at why you bought FFXIV because I doubt it was for the stellar PvP content that didn't even exist until this week.

Your first problem is that you ASSUMED I expected PERFECT PVP right off. No, I didn't. I did, however, expect the balancing system to be a bit better than what it is. PvP does have a bit of story if you even bothered to read the quest dialog as you unlocked it.. Oh.. wait.. Most people are to stupid to read quest dialog. My mistake.

pve king? not even close plenty of other mmos beat the shit out of FFXIV pve... WOW for starters... and even id say rift, probably even aion got better pve and boss fights, and these are just some examples i got straight out of my head under 10 seconds... Final fantasy is an average mmo with average quality pve content ... its nowhere near being the king of pve. developers in this game are so lazy they cant even make new gear designs for 2.1, just look at the pvp sets, old models being recycled again ilvl 70 pvp gear = lvl 70 crafted gear ... ilvl90 pvp gear = darklight recolored...

but then again yoshi-p should be thanked the first version of Final fantasy XIV was terrible, a broken and bad game it deserved a 2 out of 10 score it was a mediocre mmo, and he actually turned it into something decent, not great or awesome but a decent mmo... i give FFXIV:ARR v2.1 a 6 out of 10 score, with lots of potential to become a lot better.
