I honestly couldn't tell because you tried to bring up so many new points and topics that are just a pain to read. Next time, try to be more cohesive when you're trying to deliver an argument or whatever that huge lump of text was. Moving on, anyone have anything to contribute? Open methods are welcome.

I think what he was trying to emphasize is that the exp increase is not worth grinding dungeons after the Daily Duty Roulette, considering the main factor which is time. Sure, the Daily is absolutely a nice bonus, but this is only once a day so it doesn't prove to be a reliable, nor is it a consistent method of leveling. Grinding dungeons takes far longer than fate grinding, I personally tested this out and it's horrendous for any class. Fate grinding as it used to be is still the faster way to 50. However, seeing as this is not a viable method anymore due to the lack of parties and the absolute ultimatum, Difficulty Scaling, I hope to hear some sort of routine or undiscovered farming.

For those still updating on this thread, here's what I tested so far. The best I could find is just sticking to a daily routine which is,
    1. Daily Duty Finder lvl 16 ONCE
    2. Daily Duty Finder Guildhest lvl 10 ONCE
    3. While searching DD, join Fates as solo, even if you'll probably fail them. It's better exp than nothing
    4. When 1-3 is done, Battleleves
    5. Hunting log
    6. The most yielding, but most difficult in being consistent: Standard Fate Grinding. You will fail a lot of Fates.

I guess you can mix and match these while queuing for a dungeon.

This, in itself, is anecdotal...but I'll forgive you for that ^-^

I don't have any logs for Tuesday as I spent the night doing the new quests and avoided the Duty Finder. I don't have a large sample size to work with either, as I have limited playtime to hours outside of work and the update is less than a week old now. I can't rule out that this trend is merely people exploring the bonuses from the roulette and will slowly lengthen as time goes on. Regardless, my point still stands that, for me, queue times have been significantly lower. If you have not witnessed this, then perhaps I am just lucky or you are unlucky. :P

I think the scale of what's "worth" the xp is skewed if you're comparing to pre 2.1.
Dungeons are worth grinding now, relative to other forms gaining xp. I get more half a level per dungeon without the Roulette bonus.

When leveling a dps, you don't have good queue times.
I find that fates are still worth doing outside of a party, cause there are usually a few others doing them as well.
It doesn't scale unless there are a lot of people.
If there are a lot of people, you can usually make a party and not do the dungeon altogether.
The scaling just makes it slower, but that doesn't make it inconsistent.

The Guildhest daily is also totally worth the XP now.
I think supplementing with even the hunting log and battle leves, you can get yourself to 50 in reasonable time.
And by reasonable, I mean not FATE XP pre-2.1.

I would care a whole lot less if I had leveled lancer before the patch as taking a break to level a dps to level another dps for your main dps makes dps go dps..dps?

What I have been doing is do a level or 2 of dungeon farming, then switch it up to fates if there are just enough people in the zone. As I got to different fates last night, I would just invite people so we could share the XP from killing the mobs. Eventually, I had a full fate party and people were looking, albeit not consistently. That died at right about 11 central time, so I am not expecting to see late night fates anymore like 2.0. I also really do attribute a lot of this to people trying out new content. Once they get enough of that, they might jump back in to fate grinding. If new content, for end gamers, was released and they had to level another class due to some requirement, fates should spike again.

I get that you only get bonus XP once, but the XP of dungeon mobs have also doubled.

My tips is make a tank friend and dungeon ques will be faster. Even without the bonus from roulette this should be viable

I've found the best way is to do FATEs solo while queuing for dungeons. Yes, the initial roulette bonus is the big one, but even after that you get a lot more exp doing dungeons than FATEs for the comparable time spent, at least at low levels. I can plow through a dungeon in about 20 minutes and get 75K or so for a level 30ish job, and that's without the bonus. There aren't FATEs for that level that are going to give that kind of reward in that kind of time.
