Considering how insignificant the exp increases are for dungeons and Duty Roulette, after the daily is done, I expect to see people moving back to FATEs once the novelty wears off.Fate grinding is no longer as popular as it used to be now that players have more options. However, it's come to the point where there's pretty much NO fate parties at all (Aleport, Quarrymill and bonus/roulette is once a day) and even if there are, they are usually FC oriented. I've tried dungeon, quests, random fates, but these are unreliable in leveling. Dungeon takes too long in queue such as sometimes an hour as DPS, quests will eventually burn out, and fate parties are hard to come by. Has anyone found a better way to level now?
insignificant? You must not be doing the same dungeons I am, 120k xp for 25-30minutes @ lower levels is not insignificant. Its great, and not mind numbing like fates are.
im getting this xp AFTER my daily roulette. For instance, in satasha I was getting 1200 per kill which is pretty damn good @ lvl 15

I think what he was trying to emphasize is that the exp increase is not worth grinding dungeons after the Daily Duty Roulette, considering the main factor which is time. Sure, the Daily is absolutely a nice bonus, but this is only once a day so it doesn't prove to be a reliable, nor is it a consistent method of leveling. Grinding dungeons takes far longer than fate grinding, I personally tested this out and it's horrendous for any class. Fate grinding as it used to be is still the faster way to 50. However, seeing as this is not a viable method anymore due to the lack of parties and the absolute ultimatum, Difficulty Scaling, I hope to hear some sort of routine or undiscovered farming.

For those still updating on this thread, here's what I tested so far. The best I could find is just sticking to a daily routine which is,
1. Daily Duty Finder lvl 16 ONCE
2. Daily Duty Finder Guildhest lvl 10 ONCE
3. While searching DD, join Fates as solo, even if you'll probably fail them. It's better exp than nothing
4. When 1-3 is done, Battleleves
5. Hunting log
6. The most yielding, but most difficult in being consistent: Standard Fate Grinding. You will fail a lot of Fates.
I guess you can mix and match these while queuing for a dungeon.
number three is do battlecraft leves and you have highest exp method. For those still updating on this thread, here's what I tested so far. The best I could find is just sticking to a daily routine which is,

I think the scale of what's "worth" the xp is skewed if you're comparing to pre 2.1.I think what he was trying to emphasize is that the exp increase is not worth grinding dungeons after the Daily Duty Roulette, considering the main factor which is time. Dungeons are worth grinding now, relative to other forms gaining xp. I get more half a level per dungeon without the Roulette bonus.
When leveling a dps, you don't have good queue times.
I find that fates are still worth doing outside of a party, cause there are usually a few others doing them as well.
It doesn't scale unless there are a lot of people.
If there are a lot of people, you can usually make a party and not do the dungeon altogether.
The scaling just makes it slower, but that doesn't make it inconsistent.
The Guildhest daily is also totally worth the XP now.
I think supplementing with even the hunting log and battle leves, you can get yourself to 50 in reasonable time.
And by reasonable, I mean not FATE XP pre-2.1.
Same problem did my daily roulette on my 50 so I could get the tomes, but that means my lowbie doesn't get the bonus. So I didn't feel like doing dungeons, and went to grind a few fates only to find the place empty. I was like well damn, and logged off. Kinda sad I hope people come back to doing fates.
The trash mobs in dungeons give a crazy amount of experience. Doing Darkhold at level 48 (level 44 dungeon) I got about 215k xp on my DRG which took about 40 minutes to clear.
The exp bonus per mob in dungeons has been doubled. That's enough incentive for me to level up my alt's through them.
