    Greater challenges reap greater rewards and that's not always in the form of gold or items... That much is true. Unfortunately the old FFXI is gone now. People traded it for "fast food MMOs". Good thing 14 still has challenges to it.

    I think you're confusing the word "challenge" with the word "luck" or possibly "soul-crushing boredom".

    It's a common mistake.
