    barber shop hair styles?

    I have a Miqo'te, and was only offered the bushy pigtale look, however, when I did a random duty, the was another Miqo'te with a new hair style ive never seen (a long side ponytail with bangs).

    Is there a way to unlock new hairstyles?

    Could it have been Lightning's hairstyle? That was unlocked (for female characters) by the first quest in the Lightning Returns event. Did you do those quests when the event was here?

    Yes, tis from completing the Lightning quest series, which was correctly pointed out will return with the release of Lightning returns in NA, february.
