1500+ ms on NA servers while Japan servers ping fine.

I'm playing from USWest, I've been pinging 1500+ ms for hours now while I ping 115 ms to Japanese servers. All steam servers are pinging fine below 100 ms. What's going on?

Something is wrong with your ISP's routing to the NA/EU Datacenter for XIV, simple as that honestly.

Try running a tracert instead through command line. You'll see where it's happening then.

Not to patronize but just to be sure, you're selecting the right database on the title screen yes? It also may not be the IP you're pinging. They've made changes to their database structure recently.

If you're talking about data center then yea, I cannot choose my server without choosing the right data center first. The IP shouldn't change though if I am pinging through cmd.
